I write because I love stories. From the hamster adventures I used to peck out on my typewriter to my soul-soaked handwritten journals to the competitor profiles I wrote in the corporate world, words energize me.
In that corporate world, I researched and wrote competitive strategy pieces for a large financial services company. I loved the excitement of research and constantly learning new ideas, but when my son was born, I knew I wanted to soak in the adventure of being home with him.
I stepped back from my financial services career in 2008 and invested my words into a personal blog and submitted stories to compilation books. Success in those areas fueled me forward to pursue writing a monthly newspaper column for an organization supporting moms.

My dear friend and writing partner, Patti Lacy pulled me alongside to edit and co-write together. We've published Tattooed by Jesus and Stories from the Jesus House together and are super excited about projects in the works.
Transformed Editing is our venture to enable others to share their own words.
